The Astoria City Council and City Manager invite you to a city of Astoria Service Fair on Thursday, August 21st, from 5:00pm-8:00pm.
The Service Fair is a City -wide event and will be held at the City Plaza located at 12th and duane Streets. The fair will include equipment displays and booths featuring the various departments within the City. It will give the citizens the opportunity to learn about the departments and what they do, and to see the various vehicles and equipment up close. It will also provide an opportunity to meet your elected officials, City Manager, and City employees and express your comments or concerns about different aspects of City operations.
There will be displays, demonstrations of equipment such as the street sweeper, the ‘TV’ van, Police radar gun, fire trucks, and more; video parks and recreation facilities and opportunities; games and prizes. Food will be provided, so bring the entire family for a fun-filled night of “meet and greet” your City employees and volunteers!
